Description
With constant discoveries of monuments, artifacts and even old towns, it is said that where ever you take a step in Palestine, you are bound to find plenty of history. This tour is worth the hikes in the wilderness and the cultural connection it brings with it. Make sure to bring good hiking shoes and a windproof jacket. Family stays and meals can be arranged as well as luggage portage service while you hike.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at airport and transfer to hotel in Nablus for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Walk Jerusalem – Old City from Above and Below.
Day 3: Explore Nablus: Ruins of Balata, ancient souq, Ottoman Hammam.
Day 4: Hike 1: a Moderate Path from Nablus to Duma with Family stay.
Day 5: Hike 2: Hike from Duma to Taybeh, meet priest then have locally brewed beer.
Day 6: Visit the university of Birzeit and meet students then visit Ramallah.
Day 7: The Nativity visit in Bethlehem is followed by a visit to the excavation site of Herodium.
Day 8: Departure Home and start planning for your return trip.
